MEDUGORJE a well-known religious site, visited by millions of pilgrims/tourists from all over the world.

According to the testimony of the visionaries, in 1981 on the hill we now call Apparition Mountain (Brdo Ukazanja)

the Mother of God appeared to them, called them to herself and gave her messages. The most important of these was a call to

reconversion, prayer and peace. The then-small settlement turned into a city of more than 5,000 inhabitants.

MOSTAR the largest city in Herzegovina, a multicultural, multireligious city. Popular among tourists

is Mostar's Old Town, a walk through which takes you for a moment into another world, the world of the Orient, Islam,

the Middle Ages. Artisan workshops with jewelry, leather goods, handmade dishes and many other

colored stalls catch the eye and are hard to resist. Confectioneries and restaurants offer typical Oriental dishes and desserts that will give you an interesting gastronomic experience. The symbol of the city is the stone Old Bridge, built in the 16th century by order of Suleiman the Magnificent. Destroyed in 1993 during the Balkan conflict, it was rebuilt in 2004, and in 2005 it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This city delights in many ways: oriental architecture, souvenirs, great cuisine, Bosnian coffee, and

the emerald, and coldest river in the world - the Neretva.

Tour program:

Drive towards the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After crossing the border, continue towards Medjugorje, a short restroom break and a possible "Espresso".
The first item on the agenda is the ascent of Apparition Mountain. The path is rocky and uneven so comfortable footwear is advisable. Along the path leading to the mountain are the glorious mysteries of the Holy Rosary, and at the very site of the apparitions is a monument to Our Lady of Peace.
Time for individual prayer. Return to the bus.
Ride to the center of Medjugorje. Indication by the guide of the most important places and transfer

necessary information - free time.

Passage to Mostar, the unofficial capital of Herzegovina, its deministrative, cultural, economic center. A city which with its orinetal old town and its atmosphere will charm everyone.
During your stay in Mostar you will visit the old town with a local guide, learn about its turbulent history,

you will see: Old Bridge, mosques, Turkish bazaar. After the tour you will have free time for about 2 h, during which you will have the opportunity

to taste Bosnian coffee, hałwa and other oriental dishes.

Departure from Mostar towards the Croatian border at about 16:30.
Return to the place of departure in the early evening.

Currency (in Bosnia and Herzegovina the currency is the CONVERTIBLE MARKA, but the EURO is accepted, and in Medugorje even zlotys are accepted)
A coach travels along the Adriatic Highway (state road D8) and picks up participants who have purchased/booked the tour from bus stops along the route. It is possible to join the tour from other locations by prior arrangement.
