DUBROVNIK one of the most popular cities in Croatia, called the Pearl of the Adriatic. With its history, monuments, and atmosphere, it will delight anyone. For centuries, an independent republic (1358 - 1808) that wisely and diplomatically resisted and coexisted with powers lurking on all sides. It rose from the rubble after earthquakes. It was defeated in the end by Napoleon. Today, a city of museums and festivals, a film set for many famous productions, girded by a majestic stone wall that defended it from the enemy. Visited by world-famous actors and stage stars, politicians, presidents of states, Arab sheikhs. In 1979 it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

STON a city on the Peljeszac peninsula, which belonged to the Dubrovnik Republic since the 14th century. Here the Dubrovnikans regulated the salinas from which they took white gold - salt, and built massive defensive walls that remain today. Salt, oysters, mussels and wine await you in Ston.

Drive along the picturesque route along the Adriatic Sea towards the town of Ston, the second most important town of the former Dubrovnik Republic, famous for its fortified walls, the longest in Europe, and its salinas, which largely fed the coffers of the Dubrovnik Republic.
The guide will introduce you to the history of Ston and point out during a short walk the most important monuments located in the town.
Ston lies on the Peljeszac peninsula, which is famous for its mussel and oyster farming and the world's best wines, so a tasting of these aphrodisiacs can be arranged for those willing to visit.
After a visit to Stona we set off towards Dubrovnik.
During a guided tour of the Pearl of the Adriatic, you will learn what life was like in this amazing city-republic over the centuries and get to know the most important monuments located there: the main street of the city Stradun, the waterworks and the Onofri Fountain, the Franciscan Church and Monastery, the City Bell Tower, the Sponza Palace, the Church of St. Blaise - the patron saint of the city.
